Proof-reading

Proof-reading differs to editing. While editing advises on making broad or detailed changes to the structure of your manuscript, proof-reading is all about ironing out the kinks in grammar, spelling and punctuation.

This is usually the final stage for a manuscript, giving it a polish before it is published or submitted to agents or publishing houses.

I honed my proof-reading skills during my time working for Penguin Random House, and bring with me many years’ experience in this field. With a sharp eye and in-depth knowledge of how the English language works, I can see your manuscript is in the best shape possible before you launch it into the world.
